You Do Not Need To Be In Crisis To Begin
Life can become difficult in ways that are not always obvious from the outside.
You might be managing work, family responsibilities and everyday commitments while privately carrying stress, anxiety, grief, burnout or a growing sense that something is not quite right. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure how to move forward.
At Here Point, we provide individual therapy for adults navigating life’s challenges with practical, professional and down-to-earth support.
Our approach is tailored to the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy is collaborative, evidence-informed and grounded in your goals, circumstances, strengths and lived experience.
Whether you are seeking support for the first time or returning to therapy after previous experiences, we aim to create a space where you feel heard, understood and supported without judgement.
Appointments are available in person in Hobart and via telehealth across Australia.
People come to therapy for many different reasons.
Some are facing a specific challenge, while others simply recognise that something needs to change.
Anxiety can affect how we think, feel and respond to everyday situations. Therapy can help you better understand anxiety, reduce its impact and develop practical strategies for managing it.
When life’s demands begin to outweigh your capacity to cope, stress can become overwhelming. Therapy can help you identify contributing factors, establish healthier boundaries and create more sustainable ways of living and working.
Low mood can affect motivation, relationships, confidence and daily functioning. Therapy provides a space to understand what is contributing to these experiences and develop practical pathways forward.
Grief is not limited to bereavement. People may grieve relationships, identities, careers, health, future plans or major life changes. Therapy can support you through these experiences with compassion and understanding.
Past experiences can continue to influence how we think, feel and relate to others. Therapy provides a safe environment to process difficult experiences and build resilience moving forward.
Relationships play an important role in our wellbeing. Therapy can help you navigate communication difficulties, conflict, separation, family dynamics and interpersonal challenges.
Parenting and family responsibilities can bring significant emotional, practical and relational demands. Therapy can help you better understand these pressures and respond more effectively.
Many professionals carry significant responsibility while appearing to cope well externally. Therapy can support people navigating workplace stress, leadership challenges, career uncertainty and burnout.
Low self-confidence can impact many areas of life. Therapy can help identify unhelpful patterns, challenge self-limiting beliefs and strengthen self-awareness.
Many people struggle with managing difficult emotions such as anger, frustration, sadness, anxiety or overwhelm. Therapy can provide practical tools and greater emotional understanding.
Life transitions often bring uncertainty, change and adjustment. Whether related to relationships, career, health, parenthood, relocation or retirement, therapy can help you navigate these periods with greater confidence.
Questions around meaning, identity and direction are common throughout adulthood. Therapy can provide a space for reflection, exploration and growth.
Adjusting to disability, illness or significant life changes can impact wellbeing, confidence and relationships. Therapy can support individuals and families through these experiences.
At Here Point, therapy is designed to feel practical, collaborative and relevant to real life.
We understand that many people are seeking more than simply a space to talk. They want support that helps them better understand what is happening, develop useful strategies and create meaningful change.
Every person is different, and therapy is tailored accordingly.
